I would like to be able to get the SIP information off of my Lingo provided UTStarcom iAN-02EX ATA so that I can configure the SIP setting on a UTStarcom F1000 WiFi handset. This would allow me to switch my phone service from the wired Lingo ATA to the wireless F1000.
I believe that I can get the SIP config settings off of the UTStarcom iAN-02EX ATA if I have the Administrator ID and Password.
Any assistance with the admin ID and password would be appreciated aswell as any other information on how to accomplish this.
Thanks |

You need to HARD RESET this box while not connected on the internet via attached telephone to phone port 1 the code is *#456987# if the code works the device will reboot automatically (Watch the lights and hear the clicking relays)
After that... you can log in as
user with password ph3taswe
OR as
supervisor with password $KunK$pit
Once logged in as supervisor you have to disable DOS denial of service and Zero out the Provisioning entries otherwise you will not be able to log in as supervisor once connected to the internet.
I am still trying to figure out how to make it work with sipphone service though as setups are different than the d-link 1402s/l _________________ There are NO Mysteries in the Universe! .....Just Ignorance of the Facts. |

You should look at our generic hardware instructions for the base settings you will need. The 1402 has an unusual configuration, since we provide provisioning for the units we sold.
You might also consider posting this request in the Gizmo Project support forum, as it has more visitors than this forum. _________________ Jeff Finlay

Would anyone have the admin password for the UTstarcom F1000 phone? I was able to flash it to a non Vonage firmware but I need to get into the admin pages and don't have a password.
Thanks |

I found a FAQ for that model which had this to say about passwords:
| Quote: | 4.1 Phone Passwords
Password is required to change settings via keyboard or login to the phone's web interface. Phone passwords are factory preset and documented in the user's manual. Default values are:
login name = admin, password = psw
login name = user, password = 888888 .
Whenever the phone prompts for the "Security Code", it expects the phone's user password to be entered. The user password can be changed under Menu/Settings/Set_Security/Change_Code; it must stay 6 digits numeric. If the default password does not work, it is highly probable that the provider has changed it in order to protect their SIP configuration.
Note: The phone's user password (= Security Code) and the SIP password are different things. |
