Did you mean "reboot" instead of "reset"? Most of ATA devices that I know of will erase the user/server data on the ATA when reset! |

| For a support forum it doesn't seem to be very reactive? I'm glad I wasn't on hold for 22 hrs.... |

This support forum is manned by mostly volunteers who want to help. Many of them have gone through the same problem you have, and are taking their valuable time to save you time by answering your questions here instead of you being on hold. You're getting the best advice that 'their' money paid for.
Sorry we're not fast enough for you. _________________ Dean Hoover

...and I didn't need to sound testy either. I am sorry for that.
The forums are moderated by actual employees, but much of the support is done here by people who have 'been there, done that and bought the T-shirt'.
I was very much like you when I first decided to get involved and play with VoIP. I had a ton of questions and answers were slow. After some time I came to realize that people like Chris and Digi were actually trying their best, but simply have more cases than people to work on them. I am assuming that they also have the responsibility of making SIPPhone.com better as far as features, keeping the system maintenance up, etc.
So, in the end I decided that since I have all this time invested already, let's see if I myself can help make it work. After a ton of research, another ton of playing, and some help from people like Digi, Chris, mazilo and Dennis, I was able to gather enough information to become 'dangerous'. And now I get to share my disturbed wisdom with the rest of the world.
The operative word for this growing VoIP technology is patience. It is definitely not for anyone who insists on 100 percent availablity and customer service like they would with their PSTN phone company. On the other hand, the information is there if you look for it, and enough people here in this forum to help you find it. _________________ Dean Hoover
